We found this place at the last minute, and having breakfast included was a nice bonus. Since we had a car, the free on-site parking was useful. After our first night, though, the hot shower stopped working and we went a day without water. There were also lots of ants, but we managed. I’d stay again, though I’d book a bigger room. The small bed was uncomfortable; the queen bed was good. I also wish there were a back gate and stairs to the road behind the hotel toward the beach, since that would cut out a lot of walking around.

A friendly place to wait for the local bus and sit looking out at the lake. Staff speak some English. They also have buffet breakfast from 07:30-10:30am for R$36, take-away coffees for R$5, and Pesado (by weight) for R$54/kg.

We stayed in one of the suites, rooms 19 and 20, and made good use of both the hot tub and outdoor pool during our three days and three nights. The suite was spacious, had a fantastic view, and came with great amenities. Breakfast wasn’t huge, but there were plenty of choices: fruit, warm bread and Pão de queijo, yogurt, juice, coffee, cake, cheese, and cold cuts. It’s a traditional Brasilian breakfast, so anyone expecting a North American one may be disappointed. Of the six states I’ve visited in Brasil, though, this was the best Brasilian Café da manhã I’ve had. They even provided breakfast for our early departure on the last morning. It was a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily return. I think you’d be more than satisfied here as long as you keep in mind you’re in Brasil, not North America.
