The breakfast was fine by comparison, and the Wi-Fi worked okay. The rest of our two-night stay was unpleasant. The place wasn't clean like the pictures suggested, smelled awful, and made us feel like lesser guests because we were just passing through. Our room was outside the main building, with the street right outside the door. That's not how I wanted to spend my first night somewhere unfamiliar. The staff weren't nice. At check-in, the receptionist was about to charge us, and I had to spend a long time explaining that I'd already paid. When I asked for hot water for our mate, he said he didn't have any. A little later, I saw him drinking mate himself. After reading the earlier reviews, I believe the people who say this place is as bad as it gets.

For the price and location, this is a great choice if you're trying to save money. The place felt very family-oriented, and while it isn't luxurious, it had everything we needed and it all worked. We liked the atmosphere quite a bit, despite being worried by all the negative reviews. People exaggerate given how much it costs. The sheets had stains, which might bother some people, though they were clean and smelled strongly of laundry. That didn't bother me.

We couldn't shower because the electric shower had frayed wires, and the room had a constant smell. There'd been no cleaning, so we slept in our clothes. The mattress was awful and the bed was a disaster. We only needed somewhere cheap for one night after our flight was moved up, but even for that, this was a waste of money. Take the bad reviews seriously.

It's affordable and works well for anyone looking for good value. The cleaning could be better, though. The stained sheet made me uncomfortable. More attention to that would have improved the stay.
