Pousada Marina do Sol

We had a bad stay at Marina do Sol. The listing said the complex was 300 meters away, but Google Maps showed 550 meters. That extra distance comes from a blocked access street, which no one told us about. There was construction going on inside the building, with noise all day. My fiancée couldn't relax by the pool because of the noise and the workers there. I also had to work in the room and the noise made it really difficult. At 7:30 pm, there was still construction noise from the street and the inn itself. The street work could have been mentioned beforehand, though I understand it's outside the inn's control. The main problem was the construction inside the inn. After one day in the room, we complained about the noise and were moved to another room, but had to pay extra. Between the noise in the room and the longer walk to the beach due to the street work, we then had to pay R$ 400 more to get a room at a third Pousada location. Edit after the owner's reply: the discount for the other apartment wasn't 50%. We had to spend twice the original amount to change accommodations. The move to the "best apartment in the inn" was only because our experience in the flat was horrible, and it was the only available option outside the flat complex. We still had to pay a significant amount to relax during the time we had left. I left a video showing the noise, and even there it sounds milder than it was during the day.

The breakfast was excellent and generous, and the apartment was spacious, clean, and cozy. I loved the beautiful balcony with its hammock, and the place itself is lovely. The reception staff were attentive and welcoming, and the beach is right next door. I felt at home and was sorry to leave. A thousand points for everyone. I'll definitely be back. We were welcomed so warmly by Léo, and the location is excellent, close enough to walk to Campeche beach. I highly recommend it. I've never had a hotel breakfast this delicious!

Wonderful service and breakfast. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well equipped. I recommend it and will come back again!
