Pousada Muller da Cachoeira

We stayed in the spacious two-bedroom Joaquina apartment. The location is excellent, close enough to the beach that we didn't need the car. It's a simple inn, but the price feels fair. The double bedroom had air conditioning, and every window had mosquito screens and curtains. The furniture was basic but did the job. We could've used a fan in the other bedroom, a few more kitchen utensils, and a microwave, and the towels could have been changed. One thing that really bothered us: a guest's dog pooped on our balcony every day. The pet rules should be stricter.

The weak point was the internet. It simply didn't work!! Still, we loved the place and want to return. The employee was helpful, and we'd recommend it to friends and people we know. Our apartment was well equipped with kitchen utensils, spacious bedrooms, sheets, and towels. I'm mentioning the linens because we've stayed at other inns in Santa Catarina that didn't provide them. There was also an area with two grills, and behind the apartment a small laundry space with a sink, bucket, and clothesline. We stayed in room 9, Joaquina, one of the apartments named after beaches, and felt very comfortable there. The inn is on a dead-end street, which was great because it stayed quiet even with all the hustle and bustle in Florianópolis. Shops and services are close by, including a supermarket, snack places, restaurants, a gas station, and little shops.

The location is excellent, less than 100 meters from the beach and a supermarket, with a few other shops nearby. The rest of our stay was fine, with kitchen utensils, linens, towels, and an air conditioner. But the inn is made up of apartments, so sometimes there isn't anyone around to ask for help. Our apartment for three was small, and the children's mattress was really an uncomfortable, thin sofa cushion. The bathroom was extremely cramped. I was also very disappointed to arrive after a long trip and find not even a drop of toilet paper. We had to go out and buy some before we could use the bathroom. If you're not too fussy and want to save money, you could spend a few days here.

The beach is just a block away, with calm water, and there’s a pool too. You’re also close to several other lovely beaches, plus a supermarket nearby. Parking was really convenient. It’s a decent cabin rental rather than a hotel. We arrived late and nobody was home, but somehow they left a key for us, and the owner welcomed us afterward. The location is excellent.
