Pousada Notredame

Great.

We got a good deal for an overnight stop in Floripa on 03/01/2019, just before New Year’s. We booked the day before, and it came to R$75 per person for four adults. The apartment had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single, plus soft beds, pillows, and sofa. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pans, and other utensils; the stove worked great. There was Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a fridge. The man who helped us was very friendly and brought us towels quickly when he learned we had none. He also swapped the tube TV for another one right away, though we didn’t mind the original. His explanations about the price and checkout felt rushed and left us confused, and it was a little hard to reach them using the listed numbers. A few things could use attention: the front door seemed to have a gap, the double bedroom door wouldn’t close, and some shower wiring was exposed. I’m not sure whether that was dangerous.

The owners were so pleasant and welcoming that we felt at ease throughout our stay, and we’d happily return. The pousada is clean and organized, with spacious, fully equipped apartments and cable TV that included sports channels, so I could watch my team’s game. Its location also made it easy to get around to different parts of the island.

We were welcomed and looked after really well. It’s a comfortable pousada with a lovely view and a handy location for getting to several beaches in Florianópolis. Gas stations, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, and a wholesale store are close by. Thank you for the great service! 😊
