Pousada Recanto Forte

The inn was peaceful and quiet, and the nearby beach was beautiful. We caught an incredible sunset there. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great beds and pillows. The electric shower heated the water well for us, since we weren’t there during the coldest weather. I can’t say whether it would be an issue when temperatures are really low. Breakfast had good options. The way reception works also made it easy to come and go without waiting for anyone, though there was always someone at the desk if needed.

We felt at home here, thanks in part to the polite, attentive team who were always ready to help. The breakfast was fresh and had loads of tasty choices. It’s practically right on the sand, a great spot for enjoying Florianópolis and getting some rest. Everything was clean, organized, and cozy, with care in the details. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped for relaxing after a beach day. If you want a peaceful, attractive place with really good service, I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The location is handy for the beach, everyday food, and restaurants, and large supermarkets are close for essentials. You can rent an umbrella and chair for 10 reais a day. The rooms are comfortable, especially downstairs, where they’re more like mini-apartments with a sink, electric cooktop, and fridge. There’s also a barbecue area with two big tables, a grill, electric oven, refrigerator, and pizza oven.

You’re just around the corner from the beach, which is easily the best thing about this place. The rooms are fine, but the bathrooms are tiny and the shower has weak water pressure. Breakfast is decent, with a good range of choices. We also found the covered patio useful. It has an oven, microwave, and grill, though using the grill costs extra.
