Pup Hostel SC

The staff were the best part, really helpful, and the online check-in was quick and straightforward, though it asked for the same details several times. My bunk felt unsafe to climb, so they let me switch to the lower one. The bathrooms had those unpleasant electric showers, and the common areas were small with few outlets, so they never became the social spot they could have been. The rooftop also seems full of promise, but it’s kept in a sorry state. Decent hostel with potential, just not worth all the hype.

A well-equipped kitchen, with stickers provided so you can label your food or bags before putting them in the fridge. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the staff were helpful; a few spoke English, which made things easier. Local buses are within walking distance too.

The mattresses were like cardboard and I barely slept. Still, the clean facilities, air conditioning, and friendly community were real pluses. There’s always someone around to spend time with.

Really nice atmosphere, and the place was spotless and smelled lovely. The staff were nice too, and the location is hard to beat.
