The location is excellent, close to the sea, with a market and bakery right next door. We got a lovely welcome, and the place was clean. Even the little things were provided, like a sponge, matches, liquid soap, a dish towel, and clothespins.

Getting to the beach meant walking at least 100 meters, about a block, despite the listing saying 50 meters. The apartment had plenty of space, and the room itself was comfortable, but without air conditioning the direct afternoon sun made it unbearably hot. There was no TV in the bedroom, though there was one in the living room. The fan barely stirred a piece of paper, even at its highest setting, and the other fan didn’t work. Two bulbs were out and never replaced. The Wi-Fi was unbelievably unreliable; we connected only a few times a week. Each time we came back, there was a nauseating sewage-like smell. Housekeeping came only every two days, which was frustrating with sand constantly coming in, and the sheets and towels were changed just as infrequently. We suffered through the heat and these problems, so it was a negative stay. Still, the trip to Florianópolis was incredibly beautiful, and this detail about the inn didn’t ruin the long-awaited trip we’d planned so carefully. Room tips: There’s no air conditioning. The Wi-Fi was the most intermittent I’ve experienced in Brazil. It’s at least 100 meters from the beach, a block or more, not 50.

Everything was clean and organized, and the service was spectacular. Such a great place, well worth it!

I can’t recommend it. The people in charge took too long to reply and still didn’t resolve what we’d discussed. They didn’t keep their agreement, then blocked me on WhatsApp. A total lack of professionalism and commitment to guests. Don’t trust them.
