A nice place, though I think it suits a month-long stay better than just two or three nights.

The view across the lagoon at sunset, with birds and mountains all around, is hard to beat. It’s quiet and private, yet Praia Mole is an easy walk away. The apartment is really comfortable, with a great bed, effective air conditioning, reliable internet, and everything working as it should. There’s a good spot to eat, too. Irene and Marcelo are so caring and attentive. You have independent access and can come and go freely, while still feeling welcome. On weekends, you can even order their homemade wood-fired pizza, delivered to the accommodation in minutes. We’ve been coming back for more than 5 years. LGBT Friendly, must stay🏳️‍🌈

Irene’s pizzas were amazing, and we’re definitely coming back. Marcelo, Irene, and their lovely family made us feel at home from the start. The apartment was a dream, clean, bright, airy, private, comfortable, and with an exceptional view. They paid attention to what we needed and patiently answered all our questions before we arrived. The day before we left, they checked where we were headed and how the long trip was going. During the historic storm in Florianópolis, they called to see where we were and make sure we were okay. The positive reviews still don’t quite capture how special this place is.

The kitchen has the basics for everyday meals, and we cooked moqueca with fish from the municipal market. If you like cooking, it’s worth knowing that the space isn’t suited to frying or making very greasy food. There’s a small shop nearby with good prices for essentials like water and food. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with air conditioning for hot days and blankets for colder ones. The bathroom is well laid out and even has a hair dryer. After a full day at the beach or on the trails, the hot shower was just right. The apartment itself was clean, tidy, airy, and felt secure. You can tell the family takes good care of the residence. We arrived late in the afternoon and were greeted by a lovely view of Lagoa da Conceição. After that, we felt more and more grateful to have found such a calm, welcoming place to rest. Marcelo and Irene were incredibly thoughtful and warm. Getting around on foot can mean steep hills, though that’s part of the island’s geography. We had some December rain but still made the most of the mornings and evenings with an umbrella. There’s always something to see. For a bit more rest and to save money, we rented a car for the last few days to visit the northern beaches. Marcelo and Irene also make a fantastic pizza, with tasty seasoning and great dough. It made for a lovely dinner on the balcony. A family-oriented place that’s ideal for couples. We recommend it and will be back.
