We liked being right by the lake, where we could borrow paddles and go kayaking. Most kayaks were for two, and we spotted capybaras around dawn and dusk, along with some monkeys. There was also an above-ground pool with umbrella-covered seating. Two restaurants were within walking distance, but beyond those, the road wasn't very pedestrian-friendly and driving was needed. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4. Check-in dragged on because the host lingered, and the safe didn't seem securely anchored. The neighbors felt a bit nosy, and the instructions about moving the car and checkout were mixed. Open snacks were left out and attracted bugs. Extra towels cost more, so each person only got one, with no separate towel for the pool or lake and a clean one for showering.

We slept very well in the clean, spacious rooms. They're simple, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. The location is central, with plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets close by. We didn't get to use the amenities since we were out most of the day, but the kitchenette had what we needed to make breakfast.

The location is a problem if you don't have a car, and the WiFi was only 1-9 Mbps, making even basic browsing frustrating. We also found towels with red stains, probably blood. The administration never gave us a satisfactory response, even after we complained twice about being put in a different room from the one we'd booked.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was wonderful. I didn't get to try breakfast. I'd recommend staying here and would come back myself.
