The nightly community events made it easy to meet great people, especially as a solo traveler. The house was extremely clean and well maintained, and whenever I needed information or help, it was easy to get in touch with everyone. Barra da Lagoa is the most beautiful part of Floripa, with a lively feel and hikes, trails, and other activities close by. This was my first hostel stay and it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it.

I stayed with friends in a private room and had an excellent time. It’s a clean, comfortable place with a friendly atmosphere and good access to the beach. The staff were really welcoming, and I’d happily come back. Try the salmon poke bowl too! 5/5, thank you.

I left some things behind, but came away with friends and memories for life. The staff were even more amazing than the place, and it really felt like home. If you’re thinking of visiting Floripa, do yourself a favor and stay at the Search House. 🙏🏼
