The staff were very, very friendly, and after the water problem they found us somewhere else to stay the next day. It was farther away, outside the resort, and didn’t have direct beach access, but it was better than what we’d been dealing with. This was my first time in Canasvieiras, and we’d picked the resort on someone’s recommendation because the location was so convenient. Then water started leaking downstairs and came through the bathroom, soaking the electrical outlets and stairs. It felt dangerous, and I spent the whole day bailing water out. They did fix the leak.

We know the place well after coming back for years, with its pros and cons. The cabins vary because each has a different owner, so some are tidier and better equipped than others. Still, it’s good value and worth staying at. It’s safe, clean, well located, right by the beach, and the staff are impeccable. We’re already considering another visit next year.

The apartment was the letdown 😣. It’s much too small, the fridge won’t shut, the bathrooms look awful, and the furniture isn’t comfortable. The place itself is lovely and clean, and everyone is friendly. Cabin 53.

The beach is just two steps away, and the guest-only area makes that access really convenient. The service was very good, and the facilities were comfortable and clean, with a beautiful garden and everything we needed for a fantastic stay. It felt like paradise... 5 out of 10.
