Appartamento Beira Mar

The fruit at breakfast was delicious, though the rest of the food wasn't quite to my taste. Rooms were cleaned and kept up every day. The pool could use a little care, but the beach is right across the way. Evenings get busy outside, though it felt safe to walk along the promenade. I'd recommend it.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel has a lovely beach view. It's near the evening fair, too. Breakfast was decent, though I've had better in this city. I didn't like that there wasn't a blanket in the room by default, since I don't sleep well with just sheets. There was also outside noise in the evening.

I didn't stay in a room because I was in town for a work event, but the shared spaces looked nice and were very clean. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and the pool has a Jacuzzi beside it. I had lunch at the restaurant, where the food was good and the beach view was great. It's right on the main avenue by the beach, with easy public transport and quick access to a well-known local street market. A pleasant, comfortable hotel that feels smaller than the big ones.

The street gets really crowded at night, especially on weekends, but there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. My room was clean and cozy, if a little small, and the view from the sixth floor was amazing. Parking was convenient and felt safe. Breakfast was really good, though the bathroom definitely needs updating. Great location.
