Boozers Pub & Hostel

The location is good, but check-in wasn't at the usual time, it was at 2 p.m. The room smelled musty, and the wardrobe reeked of cockroaches. There was no hot or even warm water, the TV got no channels, and the Wi-Fi was just frustrating. On top of that, breakfast was included in the rate but wasn't provided. The front desk staff were reasonable, though the other employees and owners didn't know how to say good morning or good night. A shame. I wouldn't recommend it.

Room 13 worked really well for me. It had a big window, so it was bright and airy, plus a comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and a good bathroom with hot water. I also got an extra sheet and a hammock, which I love lying in and gently rocking. The location suited my needs perfectly: I could do most things on foot or with a short bus ride. The owner was kind and helpful, and did everything he could to make my stay wonderful. I'm grateful 🙏

The only drawback for me was that my room had very few outlets, just two, including the one in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was clean, tidy, and pleasant, with very friendly staff. The inn and hostel are on a busy avenue with easy access to Fortaleza's many tourist spots. Reception is open around the clock, and breakfast was tasty and well made, even if there weren't many choices. That's understandable for an affordable place. I'd recommend it and would stay again.

Even though I usually stay in basic places and don't fuss about accommodations, I couldn't manage to stay here. The corridors were filthy and dark, doors were broken, the floor was old, and the room smelled of mildew. The bedding clearly hadn't been washed, the air conditioner was broken, the walls were filthy, and the bathroom was completely wrecked. The whole place was run-down and filthy, like a prison cell. There are much better options nearby for just 30-40 reais more. DON'T STAY HERE!
