Friendly, helpful staff and a good vibe. The place was clean and felt safe, and the location was good too.

It wasn’t a great experience. The stay was expensive, the rooms had dust mites, and they don’t serve breakfast.

I’ve been there a few times and recommend it. It’s close to lots of things and really worth it.

After a traumatic situation involving fraud at another guesthouse on Praia do Futuro in Fortaleza, I did a lot of research into good value and credibility. When I found good hostel and its Google reviews, I got in touch right away, practically asking for help so my Fortaleza stay wouldn’t turn into a horror story. To my surprise, they welcomed me the way a mother comforts her crying child. I’m grateful to Rita, Vera and Valéria. They’re not just managing a place, they’re thinking about the comfort of the people staying there, who deserve respect whatever they pay. We arrived at good, and it delivered everything it promised. The old building has a lot of charm, especially if you like older architecture. Even though we hadn’t needed to get personally close to them, they asked what had happened at the other place and seemed concerned. They were also heading out to look for equipment that wasn’t working so we could watch TV comfortably. They arranged the accommodation to make our stay even nicer, and we had a great view of Fortaleza’s pre-Carnival festivities at Largo do Samba Dona Mocinha. The room was especially spacious, with a TV, air conditioning, a comfortably sized private bathroom, plenty of power outlets, steady Wi-Fi, and a shared kitchen. It’s simple but comfortable, especially if you plan to explore the city, come back at night, and sleep well. The beds are lovely. We were there during the pre-Carnival days, so things stayed lively pretty late, maybe until 1 a.m. We’re used to that kind of noise where we live, so it didn’t bother us. It’s probably less busy on regular days, and I’d suggest asking the owners on WhatsApp. Grateful to good hostel!
