The staff were really nice and always willing to help, and the location is excellent, about 20 minutes from the airport. It’s a nice hotel with a good view, and the rooms are clean and well maintained despite being close to the ocean. Breakfast has plenty of choices, while the dinner buffet is only average. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby if you’re staying a few nights. Be careful out walking at night and stick to the beach front, the "orla". If I return to Fortaleza, I know where I’ll stay.

Hotel Diogo offers very clean rooms, excellent service, and a warm, professional welcome at a cheap price for Fortaleza. English was no problem. One receptionist even answered me in Polish, which was a wonderful surprise.

I had a wonderful time there. My room was comfortable and looked out onto a beautiful view of the iracema beach, and breakfast was perfect.
