Oásis Atlântico Imperial & Fortaleza

We were here for a week-long conference. The conference rooms were okay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, though they could have been cleaner. Breakfast wasn't very good in either quality or variety, but we had a nice experience overall.

The location worked really well, and we liked how spacious the room was. We spent two weeks here with my girlfriend. Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and the staff were friendly. The pool area looked nice, though the water was much too dirty. The Wi-Fi was slow, which we didn’t enjoy.

The pool area was pleasant, breakfast had a good range of options, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. A few of them spoke English, too. Those are the reasons I gave the hotel two stars. The room, number 466, had several problems: terrible TV reception, a leaking air conditioner, weak water pressure in the bathroom, and a cockroach waiting there when we woke up. The hotel is dated and badly needs renovation. The booking site photos don’t match what we found; they look like they were taken when the hotel was new. We arrived on September 7th for two nights, then planned to go to Jericoacoara for four days and return on the 14th. I cancelled the second reservation.

Parking nearby can be difficult during busy hours, and there aren’t many spaces around the hotel. The property itself is in a beautiful part of the city, with a thoughtful design and roomy, comfortable rooms. It also seems well suited to meetings and social events.
