The chapels gave us a peaceful place to reflect, pray, and set the tone for the day during our retreat and meeting. I was very impressed with the hotel too: the rooms were comfortable, everyone was kind, and the front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful. When tech problems came up, they sorted them out quickly, which helped make the time worthwhile.

The place is lovely and the location is great, but the bed sheets were a ridiculous problem. They put a twin sheet on a king bed, so part of the mattress was exposed. I asked on the second day for sheets that would cover both my head and feet, and they sort of fixed it. Then on the third day they removed them. WTF?

The hotel itself is nice, which is the only reason I’m giving it two stars. Our room, number 33, was awful despite the good ratings. The furniture was really old and worn, and the bathroom was a letdown because you couldn’t adjust the water temperature, only choose warm or cold. Breakfast was poor too: we arrived 15 minutes before it ended, everything was cold, and they didn’t bother replacing it. If you’re offered room 33, don’t take it.

A nice, affordable hotel, with staff who are friendly and always ready to help. I had a great time there.

There’s no pool or gym, and the place felt really boring to stay in. The Wi-Fi connection was terrible; I asked staff twice to fix it, but they couldn’t. I couldn’t use my mobile data or even make a call inside either, since there was no signal until I went outside.
