Pousada Costa Marina

Nice.

My stay here was deeply disappointing. The pictures bore no resemblance to the actual place, and the service was poor from the start. I had asked about parking, but there was no space, so my car had to stay on the street. The room was in terrible shape. The bathroom light was burned out, and the owner said it couldn't be replaced then. There were leaks at nearly every plumbing fixture, the power kept cutting out, the bed was uncomfortable, the mattress seemed very old, and the bed and bath linens were awful. Wi-Fi barely worked, and breakfast was another letdown, with few choices and poor quality. My experience was entirely negative, and I wouldn't stay there again.

The parking situation was misleading. The listing said parking was available, but at check-in I was told I could only leave my car there at night. When I tried, the night employee said the courtyard was full, so the car spent the night on the street. He was extremely rude and said he wouldn't be responsible for the vehicle, telling me to find another parking place myself. The beds were painfully hard, the pillows uncomfortable, and the sheets so thin they barely felt like bedding. The door latch kept coming off. Since we were in a group, we had to use the bathroom with the door open. There was no bathroom light, and the employee said it could only be changed the next day. If I hadn't changed it myself, we would have spent the whole night in the dark. Breakfast was awful, with little variety and low-quality food. Outside, heavy traffic and nightlife made it impossible to relax or sleep well. The whole run of problems ruined the trip and completely killed the mood. There was also a picture in the room of a soul sitting with its back turned, which made the place feel like a horror movie set. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The room had a minibar and was reasonably comfortable, and breakfast was basic but enough. What stood out most was the location right across from the beach, along with the good service. We did have issues with the air conditioning barely cooling and power cuts, and the parking lot was so small that our car had to stay outside. A mixed stay, with a lot that could be improved in the facilities.
