6/10
The hotel is thoughtfully designed, though I had a few issues during my stay. The surrounding area feels a bit run down and not especially safe, and my street-facing room was somewhat noisy because the windows didn’t seal very tightly. Service at checkout could have been better too. I’d swapped the minibar water for a slightly larger bottle, but was charged for it anyway. I strongly recommend putting the customer first and appreciating the gesture instead of spoiling an otherwise good stay over such a small amount.

The reception was nice, but that was pretty much the only positive. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and wouldn’t let a friend come in to help me with my bags as I was leaving. The hotel is in a very rough area.

At a reasonable price, this is a very good hotel in Fortaleza. I’d recommend it.
