My room was comfortable, with a fridge for keeping food and drinks cold, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast had a nice range of choices and great coffee, and the city location felt fairly central. The staff were so friendly and helpful, thank you! The one letdown was the lack of a proper window and natural light. There were two small glazed windows, but they barely seemed to let light in, perhaps they opened onto a shaft or something.

I had to take my bag with me after checkout, even though I had specifically asked two staff members that morning and both said I could leave it until 8 PM. At checkout, the same staff member changed the answer, saying they couldn't allow it while their boss was there. They offered no workable alternative, just a firm no. They knew the downtown area wasn't considered safe, and even the tourist board advised taking taxis instead of walking. Carrying a large bag left me feeling more vulnerable to crime, so I had to book somewhere else and cancel the rest of my plans for the day. The house rules, all seven pages of them, were in broken English. I understand English may not be their official language, but they came across more like friendly reminders than formal rules. The internet didn't work at all on my first day. Staff blamed the weather, although it was perfectly sunny, and when it finally worked on days two and three it was extremely slow. I could manage WhatsApp text messages, but not download voice messages or photos. The place is in the area called downtown, among furniture shops and home renovation businesses, but the attractions and Argentinian border are far away. If you're visiting the waterfall, I'd recommend staying closer to the airport.
