The staff were really helpful, and we booked a reasonably priced tour to the Argentine side of the Falls at good times. There's a nice mix of guests, plus a decent mercado just five minutes away. The hostel is a friendly little place on a backstreet near Terminal Do Omnibus, close to the main road and buses into town. The pool is large enough to swim in, and there's a mango tree over the garden. Definitely worth a look.

They picked us up from the bus terminal and dropped us back when it was time to leave, which was handy. It's a friendly, laid-back hostel with a good vibe, decent breakfast, and a kitchen with the equipment you need. A mini market is five minutes away, and the main road with buses downtown isn't far.

Bed bugs in my bed and terrible ventilation made this easily my worst hostel stay in Brazil. The room was so stuffy I struggled to breathe all night, and I think there may be a mould problem that could cause serious health issues. When I wanted to leave a day early, staff apologized but wouldn't refund me. It ruined my experience of the Igassu falls, and I don't understand why they wouldn't let me check out after such a bad night or do more to help. The receptionist was very helpful with local knowledge and tourist information, though I have little good to say about the manager. The sausage dogs were nice, at least. Our transfer was also an hour and a half late, so why offer a service that's that inadequate? I don't usually write negative reviews, but this was very disappointing.

I woke up after an hour covered in bed bug bites. When I told Roberto, he became very aggressive and insisted the hostel had never had bed bugs, even though the bites were obvious and a quick Google search showed many reviews describing the same problem at Klein. He demanded 60 reals for the airport pickup if I wanted to leave, even though my dorm bed had cost only 30 reals. I was willing to go, but his attitude, demand for money, and denial of the problem were upsetting. Roberto had been friendly when he collected me. The hostel was a bit grotty but seemed okay for one night at first. The pool was a toxic green color and not usable. When I asked about it, he blamed the rainwater. Klein hostel has bed bugs, so do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

We partied by the pool until 5 am and met people at the dinner they organize. The customer service was the best, and they drive guests to the Falls on both sides of the border in their van.
