The way staff handled problems made an already disappointing stay at Pousada Quati in Foz do Iguaçu even worse. When I asked at reception about the air conditioning, the first attendant said it was cold and we didn't need it. After speaking with another employee in Guarani, they only swapped the room's remote. I also kept seeing the receptionist use an e-cigarette inside the hotel, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful to guests. The room itself was in a terrible state: mucus on the walls, dirt on the floor, trash left in the bathroom by previous guests, and a wet bathroom floor. The whole experience showed poor cleanliness, unprepared service, and little care for guests. I expected much more attention to hygiene and maintenance.
