It felt like staying at home. Adriana, Brian, and Adriana's mum, whose name I've forgotten, made us feel so welcome. The house is lovely, in a very quiet part of Foz do Iguaçu, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a good buffet, with eggs made how you wanted each morning. There's a nice garden and pool, too. And if you love animals, Van Gogh and his dog friend, Frederico the parrot, and the parakeets Franklin and lily are around. Don't hesitate!

We came back to find our things gone from the room and moved elsewhere. Nobody warned us or asked permission. They handled personal belongings, important papers and toothbrushes, and mixed our clean clothes in with the dirty ones. The room had been locked, though the balcony couldn't be locked. We were basically pushed out and offered a basement room with flickering lights, no windows, and a strong smell. Moving our things like that crossed a line and felt unprofessional. We've never had that happen before, and being expected to be happy about it was the last straw.

The breakfast and pool were both great, and we enjoyed our two-night stay. The bathroom sink wasn't draining properly, though, and water also stopped in the shower. There was no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up one floor.

They helped us find a driver for all the activities we wanted to do around the hotel, including Iguaçu falls. The welcome was very good, and we had a nice experience. Our room was spacious and clean, and the pool was really good.

Giovani, the local guide, did a great job getting us to the places we wanted to see and working around our schedule. We really enjoyed staying here. The room was comfortable, clean, and very nice, and breakfast was always delicious. The owner was delightful, and I loved Van Gogh the dog and Frederico the parrot.
