The room decor is dated, though I understand they’re updating it, and the tour desk is run independently. They seemed to know only about the tours they sell. The hotel itself is basic, clean and safe, with WiFi and a good breakfast buffet. Some staff speak English. For food, the Chuppascurria up the hill, first right, was excellent and much cheaper than the visitor-oriented places we saw.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and McDonald and Pizza Hut are nearby. Our room was spacious, with a good bed, and breakfast had a nice range of fruits.

Restaurants and a supermarket are close by, and you can get around everywhere by bus. I strongly recommend the location.

For a budget hotel, it was OK. The room was a little small.
