Comfort Hotel Franca

There is hot water, and the location on a main road is convenient. Beyond that, I found a lot below standard. The rooms let in noise. I could hear quiet conversations next door, and there were loud parties outside or downstairs until 1 a.m. on both Thursday and Saturday during my stay. The shower had mold between the tiles and around the hinges, and the drains were partly clogged. I also found dried blood on the sheets. Breakfast was poor: powdered eggs, hot dogs, deli meat and sliced cheese, cold or stale bread, and awful coffee. The so-called gym was laughable, with two treadmills crammed against a wall, a wooden stretch bar, a broken multi-lift machine, and dumbbells in a 4 m x 4 m room. They overcharged me for laundry. I assume they thought I wouldn't notice because I speak English, but I caught it. They fixed the amount quickly, though. I don't see good hotel options in Franca, and this is probably the best one available. I suspect most of the "top top" reviews here are fake, because nothing about this place is "top." If there were any other option, I wouldn't stay here. Franca just doesn't seem to have a better hotel.

Since the rebuild, the place has become cleaner and tidier. A nice spot to stay in Franca.

The staff are nice and the rooms are big, but the hotel feels run down. It doesn't seem well maintained or cleaned.

Room service was great, the rooms were clean, and the shower was hot. Pretty much what you'd expect from a Comfort hotel.
