Recanto das Dunas

The pousada is a little far from the beach, but the quiet and comfort made it well worth it. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. My room was very comfortable and cooled extremely well, and the water was lovely, with a quality that’s rare in the area. Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared; the sausage sauce in particular was divine. The attentive staff paid close attention to the little things, too. They even gave me a thermal lunch bag as a New Year’s keepsake.

The girls were always smiling and attentive, and the welcome made me feel right at home. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the whole place brought such a sense of peace. I’m grateful to all of you for the wonderful service.

The owners were friendly, and the carefully made breakfast helped make up for a couple of things worth knowing. The road leading to the pousada is a bit tucked away, and perhaps that’s common in the region, but the shower had only unheated, room-temperature water. I really liked the room with a balcony, which also has a private terrace and a full view of the city.

I can’t wait to return. Pousada Recanto das Dunas is in a good location, with new, very nice accommodations and an excellent breakfast. The hosts are wonderful, know the region well, and have great suggestions for outings and places to visit. You end up falling for the place, the pousada, and its owners.
