Gama Apart Hotel

The bed was awful and the blanket was worn thin. Then, in the middle of the night, someone across from my window kept staring at it without stopping, like a serial killer. I wouldn't stay here again even if it were free.

The staff are the only thing that save this hotel. It's in a good spot, with all kinds of shops and plenty of restaurants nearby, plus a 24-hour supermarket. The bus station in Gama is close too, which helps if you don't have a car. The rooms are spacious. That said, the building is old and has structural problems throughout, and the bathroom is terrible. Cleaning is very poor in every way, especially the towels. The bed is somewhat uncomfortable, and the blanket they provide is definitely unusable.

The rate is very low, around 50 or 60 reais a night. It's a basic place, but that fits what you pay. There's nothing for sale in the rooms, like water or drinks, though a 24-hour market, a Subway, and a sushi bar are all right next door. If you're looking to spend little on a place to stay for the day, it's a good option. I'd recommend it.

I went to look at the rooms before deciding whether to stay. The double room I saw had air conditioning for only one bed. The other bed was in a separate room and didn't even have a fan. There was no WiFi, the corridors were dirty, and one room's light wasn't working. The rate was R$90 a night.
