A quiet little backstreet location with a garden around it, and it works well for families. The beach Ferrugem is about a 10-minute walk away, with restaurants and a convenience store just around the corner.

We stayed over New Year, and the place was very basic. It looked nicer in the photos. One thing that really disappointed me was having only plastic mugs for coffee, which felt unhygienic, with no glass cup or mug available. We'd booked a ground-floor room, but during the week they told us we'd be upstairs instead. The listing said 450 meters from the beach, but it felt really far away. It was a frustrating stay.

Cecília was so welcoming, and the place was clean, pleasant, and easy to share with others. The shower was nice and hot, and the fan was quiet. It's about a 15-minute walk to the busy part of Geral, and roughly 15 minutes to the beach near Bar do Zado. I'd recommend it!

A simple, cozy place at a good price, and the owner was friendly. It's a bit far from the beach, though there’s a market and bakery nearby. The kitchen didn't have a pressure cooker, and even after I asked the owner, one wasn't provided.
