Pousada Cabana

The room was spacious, clean, and in a great location. I used to live in Garopaba and was showing my husband around; from here we could get quickly to any beach, the center, or Rosa. We had a 10/10 stay. The pousada was so welcoming, and even though delays on the way meant we arrived close to 1 a.m., they still greeted us warmly. Thanks so much for our stay!

I’ll never come back. We’d paid 50% of the requested price to stay with our family over New Year’s, then drove more than 1,500 km and arrived exhausted. To our surprise, the room they wanted to give us was nothing like the photo they’d sent to secure the booking. They planned to put the children in the kitchen of a makeshift apartment and another person on a sofa bed, none of which had been mentioned in the messages. I refused and asked for our deposit back so we could find another pousada in town. I wanted to speak to the owner and show him the messages where the employee had offered us a very different stay, but the manager wouldn’t let me. They kept the money we’d paid upfront. It was deeply disrespectful, and we had to find a place at short notice and pay much more. I even had to take legal action, something I’d never had to do in my life. Be careful!

The owner, João, was attentive, kind, and always ready to help with what guests needed. The staff were friendly too. There’s a games area and a pool, along with a kitchen guests can use during the day. The place felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for the warm reception and all the care.

We travel a lot as a family, and honestly, we’ve never been treated so well at a pousada. The team were all so attentive, especially the manager João, who took great care of our family. The breakfast was very good, the beds were comfortable, and there was a great area for children and games. We’re very grateful!
