The host was extremely inappropriate and rude on several occasions. He made sarcastic jokes about me to my fiancé and threatened to kick us off the property. We’re both hard workers and travel around the world, and we’ve never had an experience like this. The room was filthy underneath the bed, and the AC was extremely dirty. We were both having allergies from all the dust, so I had to clean the AC filters.

The warm hospitality made our stay, especially from Nilda Valdemor and the young woman on the staff. It’s a must-see, and I’d highly recommend it. You’re close to the bus station, a supermarket, and a laundry, with Garopaba Surf Beach just a five-minute walk away. The Italian-Brazilian food and the great range of wines from the Santa Catarina region were another highlight. Wonderful, and thank you so much!

We really enjoyed staying here. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety, and the shared kitchen had all the utensils we needed, plus a barbecue. The owners were polite and attentive. I’d recommend it and would gladly come back.
