Hotel Pousada Aeroporto

Comfortable enough, and the breakfast was good. It was inexpensive too.

The only real plus was being close to the airport. The breakfast was decent, but I wouldn't pay more than 100.00 a night for this place. Seeing all the negative reviews, I wondered if people were exaggerating. They weren't. At reception, two employees, a blonde older woman with glasses and a brunette, were unfriendly from the start. I asked for a double room and was quoted 269.00. I pointed out that Booking showed 249.00 with breakfast and a ride to the hotel. She insisted that listing was wrong, so I booked through the app right in front of her. Then she agreed to match the price. The room was even worse: a shower enclosure inside the room, separating the toilet and shower area, something I'd never seen before. The bedding was old, the towels were falling apart, and the sink tap dripped all night. We could hear the people next door talking as if they were in our room. Early the next morning, after breakfast, we asked about the ride that was included in the Booking listing. They told us the car was broken, apparently. It needs a lot of work before it can even be called decent.

The air conditioner was so noisy that I woke up every time it kicked in. The place is old, poorly ventilated, and has no shower enclosure, so there's even a floor squeegee to use after bathing. This shouldn't be called a hotel or an inn. I don't know what category it belongs in. I'm going to post photos that you can't see on any of the apps.

The breakfast was extremely basic, and on some days the only juice was artificial stuff, nothing decent. The bathroom was clogged, and its floor was slippery enough that I fell. It's just a shower enclosure separating the bathroom from the room. When I came back, my things had all been mixed up, even though I'd asked them not to come in. Don't recommend it. Find somewhere else.
