K Hotel

The room had a stale mildew smell and felt dated. Even the hallway lights stayed off, which made the floor seem almost empty, so the hotel’s claim that our short visit blocked inventory doesn’t ring true. Both of us became suddenly ill after checking in at K Hotel Goiânia. We told the hotel right away and checked out that same night, within two or three hours, to avoid putting other guests or staff at risk. We never stayed overnight or really used the room, and didn’t even move the sheets. Still, the hotel refused a refund or credit, citing its policy. Being considerate about everyone’s health apparently meant nothing. The hotel has now lied publicly, so I’m changing my response to show how much this place lies. Our records show we checked out that same night, not after a full night. I’d be glad to look at the camera footage and compare the arrival and departure times. My Uber receipt also shows when I left. I didn’t take pictures of the mold or mildew, but I’d gladly come back and post them for everyone to see. This place is a disgrace to hospitality and tourism. I’m escalating this to corporate. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I’d warn others. Very little empathy or flexibility.
