Clareira Cabanas

We loved staying at Cabana Pedra do Forno and already want to come back soon. It’s in a great spot near some beautiful trails, and the cabin feels wonderfully connected to nature. Lying in bed and looking out at the forest was such a lovely experience. The kids also had a great time exploring the path, hammock area, and deck with toys and a trampoline. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming, from the quality mattress and sheets to the well-equipped kitchen. Fernando greeted us so warmly, with fresh eggs, delicious granola, coffee, firewood, and charcoal, all thoughtfully provided.

We’re already counting the days until we can return. The route worked out fine in our low sedan, though it’s important to follow the directions you’re given. I went with my one-year-old, and Fernando was very considerate. He shared ideas for outings and activities and even set aside a picnic basket for us to enjoy outside with the little one. The inside is comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, with the basics for cooking and relaxing. For families, there’s a bed rail and even a hiking carrier for children. The cabin is lovely, even better than the photos. What stood out most to me was the attention to detail and how the hosts kept in touch, through messages as well as notes and surprise gifts when we arrived. It can get hot inside during the day from the sun, though I think window screens could make the stay even better.

We’re still enchanted by Clareira, from the quality of the place itself to the service. The mountain location is wonderful, with a starry sky that left us in awe. I’ve rarely seen a stay this good and so well situated. We loved it and will definitely return to this paradise.

We had wonderful days here, and we’re already missing it. Clareira Cabana is a magical little spot in the woods, quiet and welcoming, just right for taking a deep breath and unwinding. It’s beautiful and comfortable, with care in all the little details. The owners were kind and attentive from the moment we arrived, and made us feel at home. I suggested that the only thing missing from a true thousand-star stay was a premier subscription so we could watch that Sunday afternoon game in such a lovely setting. They sorted it out straight away and made it available. That kind of quick, thoughtful response is rare and deserves recognition. Clareira Cabana gets a thousand stars from me, and I highly recommend it. So grateful for everything!
