San Diego Suites Governador Valadares

The hotel is beautiful, central, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were excellent. People went out of their way to help a tourist, and I appreciated it. After getting home, though, we found that someone had tried to defraud our credit card for over €1000. Keep your receipts. I guess that help has a price after all.

The noise from the rooftop air-conditioning unit on the 9th floor caused vibrations throughout the floor, and I couldn't sleep. I finally called reception at 3am. They offered to move me, but who wants to change rooms at that hour? Surely management knows about this.

We're staying for two weeks and have found the people amazing, the staff excellent, and the restaurant very nice. The hotel room is on the top floor with a great city view, including fantastic views of the Ibituruna stone in the mountains. Governador Valadares in Minas Gerais is considered the “Brazilian capital of hang gliding” because the region's climate and terrain make the peak of Ibituruna ideal for the sport. Some of the world's best free-flight pilots have passed through here. The city also has 5 stars restaurants. Hotel San Diego Governador Valadares -MG - Brazil is beautiful and friendly.

The hotel itself was great, but the restrooms need to be cleaned better.
