I had a great stay in the apartment I rented from Luis Carlos Maia de Zousa, and it was very good value for money. The building is lovely, generally well maintained, and has a pretty flower garden out front. Each apartment is rented by its own owner, so the experience depends on who you rent from. I'd definitely come back.
