Hotel Floratta Premium

The room smelled moldy as soon as we arrived, and the walls were covered with mold. Since my daughter has a respiratory problem, I asked to change rooms. They said none were available, but promised they'd try to sort it out the next day. We slept with everything open to air the room and used her inhaler. She came home on the last day with a fever and had to be treated for respiratory problems. In the morning I spoke with Paulo, who hadn't been told about the issue by the previous attendant. He said he'd give the room special attention. When we came back from our outing, the smell was better, but still there. We had to stay in that moldy room, with towels that were torn, worn out, and stained. Then, on the second-to-last day, a pair of my pants was stolen. I told the person in charge, who apologized and said management would reimburse my loss via Pix. I have proof of that conversation, but even after posting on RECLAME AQUI in December/2024, nobody has resolved the theft. The plane accident happened afterward, but that doesn't excuse this. A serious hotel would already have dealt with the issue. Now they'll probably be giving guests burned towels.

For the price we paid, the stay was okay. The rooms were comfortable and consistently clean, and the hot water, minibar, and air conditioning all worked as they should. The breakfast was basic, but enough to get the day started. The breakfast attendant was helpful every day, though reception wasn't as welcoming as at other places I've stayed in Gramado. The location isn't ideal if you're coming without a car, since there are more central hotels. Parking is shared and holds at most five vehicles, so if the hotel is full you might have to park on the perpendicular street.

My stay was booked for 04/012025, but because of the accident I had to cancel on 02/01, the day before my trip. I live more than 1000 kl away in Paraná. The hotel only got in touch that afternoon to tell me they'd transfer me to another hotel, but by then I had already had to cancel because I couldn't reach them. I've been waiting for my refund for months and haven't been able to get anyone to answer my calls since. I still trust the hotel's credibility and am waiting to hear back.

For the price, I think it's a good deal. The room was nice, especially on the second floor, though the glass and toilet seat are quite worn. Breakfast had enough food and a decent variety. The air conditioner is old, but it does heat and cool as needed. The location is good, right on the main avenue. I've seen some complaints, but our value for money was very good, and it was the best price we'd found.
