Hotel Monte Felice Bosque

The rooms, breakfast, and wonderful view used to be part of why my family and I kept choosing Hotel Monte Felice Bosque whenever we visited Gramado. We've stayed there for many years and were always treated well. But a recent booking dispute has left me feeling completely undervalued, and we won't be returning or recommending the hotel. I had bought a package for several days, but personal problems meant I couldn't make the trip, and I lost the entire amount I paid. When I contacted someone in reservations, she was receptive and documented a promise of a significant discount or an upgrade on a future booking. When I got back in touch recently, I was told she was on vacation. I explained everything again, sent the evidence of the agreement, and waited for a response. The first offer was just R$ 8,00 off the total, exactly what I could get directly on Booking. After I reminded them of the hotel's commitment, I was told to wait for management. The next offer was only R$ 50,00 off the total. Since an upgrade had even been mentioned before, that might have been a simpler way for the hotel to reduce its cost while honoring what it had promised. I'm a long-time customer who has recommended the hotel to friends and people I know, so this was especially disappointing. The required 10% service fee, with no option not to pay it, adds to that feeling. We chose Hotel Locanda instead, a newer hotel with a similar profile, no service fee, and a lower final price. It's sad that the hotel lost a whole family of customers over so little and a promise it didn't keep. Maybe it shouldn't have raised the expectation of delighting a customer if it didn't intend to follow through. Has the management or service policy changed? Hotel Monte Felice Bosque is no longer on our list for future trips to Gramado, and I won't recommend it to friends, family, or colleagues. Truly disappointing.

We went to Gramado for our honeymoon, and the hotel made it a spectacular experience. From arrival to departure, we were welcomed warmly. The room was exceptionally clean and organized, and the whole place felt peaceful. The garden gave off an incredible sense of lightness. Breakfast was first-rate, with staff keeping everything replenished quickly. Two employees were especially attentive to refills and keeping the space in good order. Congratulations to the whole team. We fell in love with the care and kindness shown in every detail. At reception, they also gave us a small travel gift and water to take with us. I'm grateful. Visit places that feel empathetic and light, because the world seems so focused on getting something in return. This is number one on our list! ❤️👏🏻

The hotel is lovely, cozy, and very well located, with excellent service and a great breakfast. A few things could be improved, though. The TV is very old and the picture quality is poor, and there's no screen mirroring for streaming. The WiFi is really slow, so anyone who needs to work may have a harder time. The air conditioner remote isn't the original one, so I couldn't turn off its lights while keeping the unit on. That made it quite hard to sleep.
