Pousada Gardenia Guest House

The location is good, close to the center of Gramado, though the street climbs steeply. The gas shower had strong pressure and a steady temperature. But there were some odd shortages: I had to ask twice for toilet paper, and while soap was provided in the bathroom, there was no shampoo. The breakfast had very little variety, and the room’s mattress felt firmer than what’s standard in hotels, so I found it hard. The host also asked me and my wife a lot of unnecessary personal questions, and required us to leave the room key at reception whenever we went out.

Janaina’s genuine care for the guests and her attention to every detail made this stay especially memorable. She’s warm, dedicated, and welcoming, and that really makes a difference. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with kindness in a charming, tidy place that felt inviting. Pousada Gardênia was comfortable and peaceful, with wonderful service. I felt at home, maybe even better than at home. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and personal hospitality. I’ll definitely come back.

We received very good service. It’s near Lago Negro, in a nice area for walks that isn’t too busy. I recommend it.

The place was very clean, and the service was excellent and friendly. It’s a perfect place to visit. I’m very grateful to the owner, Janaina, for making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend it.
