Pousada La Vista

We’ve stayed at La Vista twice already and hope to come back. The view is lovely, the rooms are decorated with great taste, and breakfast is delicious. Felicitas, who owns the inn, is very helpful and always has great restaurant tips.

The view really is something special, and it’s wonderfully quiet. Sitting there with tea or chimarrão and taking it all in is a treat. The drive to the inn takes about 15 minutes from central Gramado. It’s easy to find on Maps, and the road is new, smooth to drive, and beautiful. Breakfast had lots of variety, including warm bread, cuca, and apfelstrudel, and it was delicious. The room was great too, with a big, comfortable bed and those heavy comforters that make it hard to get up 😂. The service was attentive and friendly. Well worth it!

The sunsets here are beautiful, and the quiet is remarkable. We felt very well looked after by the team and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to slow down and relax. Getting there was easy because they sent the location before check-in. A staff member and the owner welcomed us, and even in the rain the owner walked us to the chalet. We got an upgrade to the chalet. We ordered dinner, which was served in the room and was very good. Breakfast was brought to the table, fresh and tasty. The room was cleaned daily, the bed was spectacular, the linens and towels were immaculate, and the shower was good. I’ll definitely return. It was a shame to have to leave.

Felicitas, the owner, personally looked after us with warmth and paid attention to what guests needed and to all the little details. The bungalows were well equipped, and breakfast was generous, good quality, and served in a peaceful, harmonious setting. The whole inn felt quiet and calm, with a view like something from a movie. The new road from Gramado is lovely, with beautiful scenery along the way, and the drive took 15 minutes. We had four wonderful nights in Gramado. We’ll be back!
