Pousada Olímpica

We were supposed to stay two nights, but left after just one and got out as soon as we could. I’ve never stayed anywhere worse on all my trips. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll never stay here again. Our apartment was number 102, behind the inn. To reach it, we had to go through a dirty, cluttered, dark corridor with no ventilation, and the ground was bare dirt without paving. When we went inside, the owner was still taking off the bed linens and arranging things so we could enter. There hadn’t even been a basic cleaning. A tile-cutting machine was sitting on top of the microwave, and there was motor oil on the sink. The kitchen was just as bad: only one plate, very few utensils, a messy cupboard, and dirt everywhere. Even our basement isn’t this disorganized.

I’ve stayed here three times and will be back again. It’s simple, lovely, and cozy, and I felt at home. There’s no breakfast, but every apartment has a kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table, TV, sofa, and bed. The place really is like it looks in the photos. NESIO, the owner of Pousada Olímpica, is always ready to help. I had to leave two days early because of a health issue, and he refunded the money I’d already paid. I’d recommend the inn for its cleanliness, reception, and service. Ten out of ten. Congratulations, NESIO!

I’m the owner of Pousada Olímpica, and I’m very grateful to everyone who stays here. I want people who come to GRAMADO to enjoy their dreams and feel blessed at my POUSADA OLÍMPICA. Everyone who comes through is always welcome. Still, I can’t please every guest. Not even God could, because some people don’t want to pay anything but expect a five-star hotel. This place is very good: there are units with two separate bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and private bathroom, plus an apartment with three separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Some people write things that have nothing to do with it, but God is wonderful and always does what’s right. I can only thank God for remembering me and continuing to send good people here.

I’m sharing how disappointed I was. In July 2019, we planned a trip to Gramado and looked for an inn with a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms since we’d be traveling with our six-year-old daughters. I contacted Sr Nésio, who offered exactly what we wanted and was always very attentive by message. We arrived on November 4, as agreed, after 2 p.m. He welcomed us warmly, then suddenly said he’d put a mattress on the floor for the girls. I reminded him that we’d arranged an apartment with two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. He had rented that same apartment to two different people, and the other guests were due on November 6. If we stayed, we’d have to squeeze in very tightly. My husband suggested a refund of our deposit so we could find somewhere else. He said he didn’t have the money. We ended up staying only two days in Gramado on the trip we’d dreamed of and planned. Every hotel was full, with no last-minute nights available. For that reason, I absolutely do not recommend this “inn.”
