I wouldn't recommend these so-called apartments. They felt like awful little basements and shouldn't be rented out. I can't comment on the house because I never saw it. Luciano, the host, was strangely possessive about the garage remote and never gave us one. Several times I had to walk in the rain with children because the gate was closed. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

There were six of us and we were quite comfortable in the house. It had all the equipment we needed, though we had to bring our own toiletries.

We love this cozy, peaceful place and keep counting the months until we can return. It's a lovely choice for visiting Gramado or Canela. There are lots of little cats on the street, which charmed us even more.

It's far from the center, and the price feels very high. The owner told me that if I'd booked directly with him, it would have cost a third of what the hotel booking sites charged. He was exceptionally kind, hardworking, attentive, and dedicated, and could see how uncomfortable we were. He had to unclog the tiny toilet every day. The place is very small, with just one double bed and one single bed. The bathroom is excessively cramped and kept clogging, and there's no bidet spray. That made things uncomfortable for women needing to clean up after urinating, and a struggle for men with hemorrhoids who have to wash at the sink. There's no cable TV, and the local signal is awful.
