Top-notch, really top-notch.

There’s plenty nearby, including shops, bakeries, and restaurants, and you can walk to the beach. The place also has good facilities and air conditioning.

The apartment was clean when we found it, and the bathroom was dry. My complaint was that without a shower screen, water gets everywhere. The tap barely ran, and getting the shower to a comfortable temperature was a struggle. The air conditioning charge was handled badly too. We were told it would cost extra, but weren’t expecting the first quote to be R$ 150 per night. They later said that was a “mistake” and that it should actually be R$25 per night. We agreed to pay because we hadn’t slept at all the first night. In the end, we paid R$20. If you went to the “suite” I stayed in, you could see it was clean, just as we found it, and the bathroom was dry. I only said it gets soaked because there’s no shower screen. As for the air conditioning price, that’s exactly what our guide told us, R$ 150 per night. If that isn’t the price, sort it out with her for giving us wrong information. When people leave public feedback, all you can do is give a canned reply like, “Thanks for the feedback, we’ll do what we can to improve these things. We hope you’ll come back and have a different impression of us.” You’re lacking humility, and from the older reviews I read, this has been going on for years. You don’t make any real effort to improve, and then you want to argue with someone who helps raise your establishment’s profile. Just improve!
