Hope Hostel

The place was clean and organized, but the room we were given was another matter. I opened the door, then left and went looking for a hotel, even though it was already late. It was dark, cramped, and had no window, so I couldn’t rest there. I expected more. For just a small difference in price, I got a hotel room with air conditioning and a TV. I’m a simple person and not fussy, but the smell of cats in that enclosed space was too much. The kittens aren’t to blame.

I stayed with my family in the private quadruple room. It’s basic, but works for people who just need somewhere to sleep. I didn’t have to share a bathroom. There was a fan, but no air conditioning, TV, or minibar, and the bathroom had no window. Breakfast was extremely basic too, just bread, butter, cake, biscuits, coffee, and milk. The service and attention were lacking, with no real assistance.

A nice, well-equipped hostel in a good location, with straightforward service. The cats who live there are its real charm and make any space feel even better.

The photos made the place look cozy, and I love animals, so the many cats weren’t an issue by themselves. But the smell was very strong, and nobody warned me about it. The attendant was very helpful, but the place needs an upgrade, especially the bathroom, beds, and smell. I stayed one day and looked for somewhere else. It also felt far from the beach, and breakfast wasn’t much. Still, that was for the price...
