The place was simple but clean, and the host was welcoming at first. After we came back from an outing, though, he got worked up and was extremely rude to my husband. We left early the next morning. My only complaint is about the host, who was very impolite and rude.

The hall is the standout, gorgeous plants and lovely furniture everywhere. Alfredo, the host, was really nice and looked after us so well. Our room was basic but cozy, and the nightly rate was excellent. We’ll definitely stay at Solarium Gini again when we’re back in Guarapari. Highly recommend it!

The rooms get stuffy, since the small ceiling fan isn’t enough, and there are no in-room essentials like a minibar or air conditioning. The price is very affordable if you can do without those things. I went for four days with my aunt and cousins, and the host was rude to several of us. On arrival, the way he told my husband to come down and finish paying felt brusque. The next day, when my cousin’s door slammed, he came up the stairs cursing instead of showing her how to use it, since it has nothing to keep it from banging, and told her rudely to keep it closed. On the third day he called me unfriendly and broke a plate in front of me while insulting me. He seems to get stressed at certain times of day. I think it may be when he drinks alcohol.

The location is great, close to the beach and shops. It’s a simple but comfortable place, and the daily rate makes it worthwhile. In hot weather, though, the fan alone isn’t enough, so having a TV and air conditioning in the rooms would be nice.
