Pousada Paraiso Guarapari

For value alone, this may be the best hotel in the Guarapari area. If money is tight but you need to stay in Guarapari, I really recommend it. The rooms are clean, and the shower water is good. Just know what you're getting: there's no breakfast, the rooms are basic, the TV is tiny, the fridge is old, and the mattresses are thin. You can get by and rest reasonably well for a short stay of 3 to 5 days, but they aren't great. The bathroom sink and toilet water are dark in color, so I'd use bottled water to brush my teeth. Reception is very plain and direct, with no warmth but no rudeness either. I booked online and confirmed on WhatsApp just after paying. I gave it 4 stars because the price matches what the hotel offers. Rates seem to run from 70 to 90 reais per night, charged per room rather than per person.

We booked through Booking, but there's no way to review our stay there since it doesn't even show up. The service was awful, the place was really noisy, and reception only operated in the afternoon. There was a termite infestation every day. The shower stayed cold, and the fridge and fan made unbearable noise. The mattress and pillow were barely a finger thick. I was told room service came every three days, and there wasn't even a floor squeegee in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend it at all. This was infuriating.

The price is fair for what you get, but I couldn't give it five stars. The room was very hot with no air conditioning, the mattress was so thin it felt like sleeping on the bed's wooden base, and the water was yellowish.

The rooms are simple but very clean. Unfortunately, we felt uncomfortable when we asked for information and the attendant was curt, saying it wasn't time yet.
