Hotel Eduardo I

I've stayed here several times, and the owner is friendly and treats guests well. It's an excellent hotel.

Hotel Eduardo made for a comfortable stay and put us close to almost everything Guaraqueçaba has to offer. There are waterfalls, trails, camping, boat trips, and more, all around a peaceful small town. The staff were cheerful and friendly, with useful suggestions and plenty of tour options. The breakfast had a lot to choose from, and some rooms have A/C. My reason for holding back the fifth star is that the hotel's appearance could use a little improvement.

The Wi-Fi drops often and isn't very good, though it seems to be a town-wide problem rather than something unique to the hotel. Breakfast was good, simple, and had some interesting choices. It's a basic hotel, with a few rooms facing the bay and a great view. The staff do what they can to help: when I asked for a grab bar in the shower, they installed one, and they got a minibar for my room right away.

We were there on a weekday when the hotel was empty, and the owner's hospitality was wonderful. She even lent us another room so we could shower after our noon checkout, and kept checking that we were comfortable. She charged our family below the listed rate despite giving us so much attention. It's a simple hotel, but absolutely worth the money. We'll definitely return.
