The location and view give this hotel a lot of potential, but it felt completely neglected. Room service didn’t happen unless we asked. The decor was very humble and seemed like it may not have changed since the hotel opened. Even in winter, the electric showers didn’t get warm enough. When I asked an employee for butter at breakfast, they said, “Let me check.” It seems to me the owner isn’t taking care of anything, and the hotel is going downhill. Don’t risk your vacation by staying here. There aren’t many choices in town, but the hotels on Caiobá Beach are definitely much better.

The beach views are lovely, but the hotel seems abandoned and badly needs renovation. I spoke with other guests who said someone had been stuck in a bathroom after the handle broke and the lock mechanism failed. It’s hard to understand why the place has been left this way. I hope they reconsider what they can do with the hotel and look after it.

The view across Guaratuba bay is good, though the place needs some renovation.
