Rota Do Sol Apart Hotel

The location and the condominium's shared facilities were the bright spots: there's a playground, pool, and barbecue areas. But the front desk service was the worst I've ever had. The attendant left us waiting for an hour while she struggled with the system. I had to talk her into photographing our documents and finishing the process later just so we could get in. I nearly canceled the reservation right there. The room was very mediocre for something called a Family Bungalow. It was a tiny suite with a wardrobe stuck in the middle to "divide" the space, and a bunk bed on the other side, where the "kitchen" is. The bathroom had no ventilation or extractor fan. The air conditioner was barely working and didn't cool the other side of the wardrobe. We also had to ask maintenance to fix the broken shower and the burned-out garage light. The restaurant stayed closed for the whole long holiday weekend.
