The staff were welcoming, and the breakfast was tasty and generous. In our case, it was complimentary, although the listing had said we wouldn't get it. It's a simple inn that delivers what it promises, close to the waterfront. The dirt road in front has potholes and felt quite dangerous at night. The mattress was very worn and uncomfortable. They also charge R$300 extra to turn on the air conditioning, so you pay that amount more while staying in the same room.

Please read the fine print when you see this inn's low advertised prices. I recently booked through "booking" at a listed rate of R$141. I missed the extra fees in the details, which came to nearly twice the room's nightly price: R$15 for water use, R$12 for electricity, R$17.45 service per night, R$20 for towels per night, and R$50 daily cleaning. It seems designed to affect price filters and search results so the place looks like a better deal. I canceled because it looked quite different from the listing and its 4-star "booking" rating. I wouldn't give it more than 2 stars. Even though I never used the inn, the reservation charge was combined with those fees. I still don't understand why I'd owe water, electricity and daily towel charges for a stay I didn't use, and I'm contacting the booking site about it. There was no sign outside saying it was an inn, which we found unsettling. What they call a parking lot was really just a lowered section of the sidewalk where cars were left with no security. Be careful not to be misled by the listing.

Everything was wonderful over the Carnival holiday, from the welcome to the room. Breakfast suited me well since I don't eat much. One unpleasant part was a family staying nearby. The woman used a wheelchair, and the family in the suite next door kept slamming doors and talking loudly. I came to rest and enjoy the beach, not to make friends. They made it hard for anyone to serve themselves and were rude, with frowns and not even a good morning to the owners, let alone other guests. Lunch and dinner weren't available because an employee had been injured, but that didn't affect us since there are plenty of nearby restaurants and iFood works well. My suggestion to the inn is to be more selective about the guests who stay there, because people like this can spoil things for others who just want to relax.

The location was good, and the service was great. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise too. The rooms were okay, though the bed felt a little uncomfortable. It didn't get in the way of our trip. We asked about staying a bit later, but the extra charge seemed much too high, as did the nightly rate.
